Preparations for a Signature Style Wedding

In a mere 4 days, two of the rooms on the third floor at the Bernards Inn were striped, painted, wallpapered, carpeted and overnight given a new personality. As the designer for the Bernards Inn, I have named the third floor rooms Metro 14 and Metro 15.

Our Clients Voice

I'm enjoying seeing familiar faces coming back to the shop this season and meeting new customers.  We continue to receive positive feedback about this year's collection.  It's so wonderful to hear  that we are "one of the pleasures of the Nantucket" and that customers truly appreciate the collection.  So often I hear that we have "such great and unique pieces"...."a wonderful collection"..."I'm so glad I come in early in the season...my choices are grand."

Living Architecture

You may have noticed new adornments at the entrance of J. Butler Collection – our ‘living columns’. We carefully designed these unique pieces for the Centre Street location, built by our New Jersey landscape craftsman. The structure is primarily constructed of reclaimed shipping pallets. Sedum, Hens and Chicks, and other drought resistant perennials are planted within each of the four walls. A solid piece of bluestone caps each column. Coupled with planted pots at our shop's entrance they add a new architectural dimension and textural interest.  Next time you’re strolling down Centre Street, stop by for a glimpse and come in to learn more. We will be able to offer custom designed versions for our clientele.
